I'm a geophysicist by training. When my position was cut in late 2025, I built ai-job-search to run my own job hunt on Claude Code: scraping postings, tailoring my CV, drafting cover letters, and prepping for interviews, all on my own machine, with my career data never leaving it.

Sixty-nine applications and twenty interviews later, it got me hired as an AI engineer. So I open-sourced the whole thing. It reached #1 on GitHub Trending, and thousands of people now fork it to run their own search, free forever.
